According to a former American Automobile Association (AAA) police officer, there is a method to prevent duplication of the car’s passcode: simply wrap the electronic key or remote in aluminum foil. The latter protects against fraud, even if it is not the most modern solution available, by creating a kind of barrier that isolates electromagnetic waves and thus prevents them from being intercepted and reproduced by cybercriminals.
