The world's largest tomato

The heaviest tomato ever produced is American. A Big Zac variety, it weighs 3.81 kg. Dan MacCoy, the gardener who grew it, didn't really expect to break the previous record. The seeds, named  "8.41 MacCoy Big Zac"  (8.41 is its weight in pounds), have been sold to French and British gardeners who hope to obtain even larger ones for future competitions. As for the longest tomato plant ever measured, it was 19.8 meters tall.
