The biggest flop in the world

Since 2004, no one has managed to beat Scott Robb's Guinness World Record. The one he grew weighed 17.78 kg. Now all that's left is to find some good recipes to enhance it.

The world's largest potato

Peter Glazebrook's garden is also home to the world's largest cultivated potatoes. The one weighed at the  National Gardening Show on September 4, 2011, at the Royal Bath & West Showground in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, reached 4.98 kg. It surpassed by more than a kilogram the one he had presented the previous year, which had held the world record.
